If you’ve been battling an injury, illness, or chronic pain, you may have noticed some changes in your ability to get out and about. Enablr Therapy provides in-depth, on-demand physical therapy assessments that give you the answers you need.
Getting a Physical Therapy Assessment
Before you begin a PT program, your therapist needs an accurate picture of your abilities and challenges. During your initial appointment, your physical therapist will assess your:
- Strength
- Flexibility
- Joint mobility
- Range of motion
- Muscle tone and function
- Gait and mobility
- Balance
- Pain level
In addition to this physical evaluation, your PT will ask several questions about your current capabilities, symptoms, and level of functioning. The more detail you provide, the better. This information will provide the groundwork for the exercises, therapeutic modalities, and goals that make up your treatment plan.

Online PT Evaluations
At Enablr Therapy, our objectives are to help you reduce pain, improve mobility, and regain daily functioning. However, we know that in-office physical therapy can be inconvenient, especially for clients already struggling to walk, drive, or leave the house. That’s why we’ve taken a different approach to PT assessments. We offer online evaluations and therapies through our HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform. Whether you would like to meet during your lunch break at the office or in the comfort of your own home, we’re happy to accommodate your needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
In many states, licensed physical therapists may evaluate and treat you without a prior doctor’s referral. However, a referral may be needed for ongoing treatment. With your permission, your therapist will share their findings from the evaluation and request a written referral.
At Enablr Therapy, we believe that everyone deserves to regain their mobility. That’s why we cap the price of our assessments at $200.
Pediatric clients: We work with many children with developmental disabilities, sports injuries, and significant illnesses like traumatic brain injuries and cancer. By providing online care for this population, we reduce the anxiety and risk of infection that can accompany medical settings.
Young adults: Do you have a busy work schedule? Young adults who need physical therapy during the evenings or weekends benefit from our flexible appointment times.
Older adults: Our on-demand physical therapy services are ideal for aging adults who don’t want the inconvenience of going to a clinic, especially those who no longer drive or have concerns about catching illnesses.
